Let’s talk about savings and coupons! I love saving and admittedly, I get a little bit excited when I see the end of the receipt and it is much smaller than I was expecting. But, I was having trouble juggling the coupons, having them rip, losing them altogether and accidentally letting them expire because I wasn’t organized. Enter the ten page free printable Coupon Binder! Problem Solved!

So this Coupon Binder came to the rescue because I was using little envelopes for years…you see it right? The white envelopes and then I put them in my purse and between keys, money, wallets, the envelopes became a complete disaster. Just like everything in life, it is a process!
I’m saving you from all the chaos I have already experienced in years past with my coupons and giving you this gorgeous Coupon Binder! You don’t have to go through all the frustrations that I have already gone through. Clip those coupons and put them in a sleeve! You are good to go now!
💵 Coupon Statistics
Before I started making this binder for our readers, I thought I better check out if people are even using coupons anymore! I was thinking “ok, is just something that we used to do and isn’t really a thing anymore?”
To my surprise, it is still extremely popular and people are using coupons in massive amounts. According to Sun Sentinel Newspaper, more than 90% of us still use coupons in one form or another! They may be coupon codes, paper or digital that but confirmed that people were using them, maybe they just weren’t talking about it as much!
📒What You Need
To start, you’ll need the following items:
- 1” three ring binder
- Plastic sleeves for the page dividers
- Plastic sleeves with pockets (like the ones that organize baseball cards)
- Scissors
- Calculator
- Coupons!
📒 Create Your Own Binder
- Print out the coupon binder attachments that are below. They are completely FREE!
- Decide which divider pages you will use and discard the ones you won’t.
- Slip the cover page in to the front of the binder.
- Add plastic divider pages and the baseball card sleeves into the binder.
- Start adding your coupons to the pockets in the baseball card sleeves.
- Add an additional sleeve to store the weekly flyers so you remember the specials for the week.
Note: If there are a few stores that you frequent, you may find it worthwhile to print the store’s coupon policy and insert it into a sleeve. I can’t tell you how many times that a new employee didn’t know the policy andI had to “help” them!
‼️How to Use It
Start with a standard one inch three ring binder that has a clear sleeve on the front for the gorgeous cover art. Yes, that matters to gals! If it looks nice, we are more likely to use it. We know it, it’s fine. We are going to go with it!
Before I leave the house, I review all the things I need to buy and check for the coupons in the binder. It is so much easier to do this BEFORE you leave the house. I have accidentally held up the checkout line before when I am searching for a coupon that I know I had.
📎 Online Coupons
I end up with more and more online coupons. They come as special discount codes, email incentives, and coupons with barcodes that were in my inbox. But, I am horrible at remembering these and end up looking through my phone to find them at the checkout line.
That’s why I added a coupon code tracker to the binder. It gives me space to write down the code and/or print and store them. Easy peasy!
📋 Coupon Collecting
When you get the coupons in the mail or newspaper, simply clip and slide it into the appropriate sleeve. Every month or so, clean it out and make sure the expired ones are thrown out. I tend to do this when I do my bills. I’m in “admin mode” and it is easy just to work them on bill day. Some of my friends go through their coupon binders while they watch TV. It is fairly mindless work, but it does help you save a lot of money!
I included a section for restaurants and local stores. My local Wegmans has coupons that come out and I keep Bed Bath and Beyond for those times I may need something. Dicks and even Dunkin Donuts have coupons come through.I put all of those into their own sections. There is no more wishing I brought the coupon as I keep the binder with me in the car.
